Hypertension Prevention And Control Program

Hypertension Can Be Prevented Or Better Controlled

Hypertension is a very common disease. It is so common that even three decades ago, it began to affect school children.

Uncontrolled hypertension can cause blindness, renal failure, heart attacks, strokes and death.

Needless to say that the children who begin to suffer from hypertension from childhood, and it never gets detected, would be at the greatest risk of catching these illnesses very early in adulthood!

Many people never find out that they have it, as it is often asymptotic, till they develop some complications. Amongst those in whom the condition is diagnosed, many refuse to take proper medication or take medicines irregularly or stop them once they feel that the blood pressure is normal, without informing their doctor.

Amongst those who take the medicines, many never bother to get it checked regularly to see if it is properly controlled. Amongst those who do keep in touch with their doctors, most continue to have their blood pressures well above normal even with adequate medication. Their doctors, in India and abroad, tend to accept the higher levels, with probably a degree of resignation!

In general, the harder hypertension is to control, the higher is the risk of stroke, even if the treatment is successful.

Research has proved that people who need three kinds of drugs to control their hypertension (systolic blood pressure below 140) are as much at risk of getting strokes as are people without controlled hypertension (systolic blood pressure above 140, with or without medicines)!

Thus it is easy to see that depending up on medications alone, to control hypertension, is clearly not enough to keep complications like strokes at bay.

People with hypertension must learn to live healthy, keep their weights under control, eat healthy, at least walk regularly, rest adequately and be mentally peaceful and happy. Those who don’t have hypertension also must prevent the onset of it by doing exactly the same things.

Hypertension can be positively prevented in most people or can be brought down to normal, in those who already are on medication, but still continue to have unsatisfactory control over their blood pressures.

I have helped Indians all over the world to learn to live and eat healthy, take up regular exercise as simple as walking, rest well and be mentally peaceful and happy, to overcome obesity, various pains, hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and strokes, often getting rid of their medication, and also to overcome PCOD, repeated miscarriages and infertility, after all infertility treatments had failed!

I can absolutely assure you that living and eating healthy, regular walks, adequate rest and mental peace and happiness are not only the best way to prevent the onset of hypertension but also to quickly bring your blood pressure to normal levels if you have uncontrolled hypertension in spite of adequate medication!

Most people will need lower doses of hypertension medication, some may get rid of their medicines altogether and still have perfectly controlled blood pressure, if only they improve their lifestyle just a wee bit!

We are introducing a ‘Hypertension Prevention And Control Program’ for those people who have strong family history of hypertension or have a reason to believe that they need to prevent it, or for those who have uncontrolled hypertension, in spite of medication.

I can positively help you prevent hypertension or bring it down to normal levels, if it is high in spite of medication! You will need lower doses of your medication, may even get rid of it altogether, and get automatic protection against heart disease and strokes!

A single consultation could be enough for most people, a slightly altered lifestyle and food are enough to bring down blood pressures in most people.

I have been suffering from hypertension for 16 years and am on one tablet of Amlopress L 5 mg, prescribed by my cardiologist in Vadodara.

I was a smoker, but I quit it in 1984.

In spite of regular medication, eating moderately and exercising regularly, my blood pressure refused to come down below 150/100 and shot up to 160/110 mm at high altitudes, in Kashmir where I often work as a consultant to a hydroelectric power plant.

I joined Dr. Nitin Gupte’s ‘Hypertension Control And Prevention Program’ from Vadodara and my weight dropped from 77 kg to 65.5 kg, losing 11.5 kg and got much fitter on very normal food and regular walks morning and evening. My blood pressure dropped down to 130/90 m.m.!

Now I am confident that both my weight and my blood pressure will drop down to further and I hypertension medication too will drop down to minimal!
